Can I join the RESA Buying Group if I am not a RESA member?
Yes! You may but RESA members join for FREE.
Does the RBG come FREE with my RESA membership?
Yes! But you must register/subscribe on this site in order to join the RBG. This RBG subscription dues for non-RESA members are $599 a year. You must still use your credit card and coupon code to sign-up. RESA members will not be charged, RBG membership is FREE for RESA members.
What is required of me as a RBG member?
As a RBG member you agree to report your purchases quarterly for each vendor. RESA will send a survey quarterly asking you to report your purchases. This information is used so we can justify the program to our RBG vendors and negotiate better deals with current vendors and new vendors.
If I am a RESA member do I still need to add my credit card to join?
Yes. This subscription charges non-RESA members $599 a year. You must still use your credit card and coupon code to sign-up. You will not be charged, RBG membership is FREE for RESA members.
Do I need a resale license?
Yes. In Canada you will use your HST number and in the US you will use your reseller license or permit number. There are very few vendors who are set up to collect sales tax. To get a resale license visit your states department of taxation, Board of Equalization, etc. Consult your CPA or book keep on how you report your sales and usage tax throughout the year. Some states you may use your state tax ID. Please check with your states requirements on buying wholesale.
Do I have to travel to any of the markets to place orders?
No. You can place orders all year long with your account rep.
What do I do when my rep does not know about the RBG or they tell me something different than what is on the RBG website?

Is the RBG a middle person for billing?
No. You pay the vendor directly.
Do I need a loading dock to receive my order?
Depends. All of the vendors ship smaller items and case goods via typical shippers like UPS. Some also deliver larger items through UPS, check with your vendor.
Do I have to make a large purchase to take advantage of the RBG?
No. Many RBG vendors have eliminated large minimum orders. Many vendors require a $5,00 opening order to get any discounts. Many of the RBG vendors are giving stocking dealer or a % below stocking dealer with no minimum. Of course, the more you spend the more you save.
Does this work for Canada?
Yes. All vendors will ship to Canada. Several vendors have showrooms at the TIDC. Be sure you ask about freight charges prior to ordering. If you have a wish list for Canadian specific vendors, let Jacqueline know. She will reach out to them. Jacqueline Robinson 888 201 8687 x 6.
How does the guarantee work?
Your first 120 days (4-months) is a trial period. We are happy to cancel your membership during that time and you will not be charged. You will no longer have access to the RBG savings after cancelation. RESA members, this is included in your RESA membership.
My rep is giving me different information than is listed on the RBG site. What do I do?
The information on the RBG site is provided by each vendor. If your rep is telling you they don’t know about the RBG, the offer is not valid, or the offer is different, it is more likely your rep is not up-to-date on the RBG rather than our information being wrong.
